In no particular order, and featuring spoilers for mostly long defunct TV shows:

1. Pretty much the whole of season four of Torchwood. Whoever thought up that plot ought to be gently restrained from all future attempts at creating television. It wasn't all bad, and the episode that was basically Jack being the Doctor, with his Italian boyfriend as a companion, was terrific fun. It was just the other nine episodes that were mostly nonsense. I'm sorry, Torchwood. I do still love you, but come on...

2. The events transpiring in The Tribe from season four onwards. It was originally a show about the collapse of world civilisation after all adults die in a genetically-engineered plague. "Lord Of The Flies" in a city, essentially. And then suddenly it's about downloading people into computers. Oddly enough, everybody then stopped watching.

3. Most of season five of Angel. Making the cast forget almost everything that they've been through together? How is this a good idea? The memory block must die. And Wesley can come back to life in exchange. That definitely seems like a fair swap.

4. Babylon 5, and Marcus confined to a coma forever. This is a good plan how?! It does seem that the show's creator regrets that himself now. But it still happened.

5. Clarence Clemons isn't dead. Only Bruce Springsteen is allowed to write for the E Street Band, and we all know that he would never have written that. Must do better, real life.
